The Salvation Army Texas Divisional Music Department is in

existence to support the mission of The Salvation Army:

The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the

universal Christian Church.  Its message is based on the Bible.  Its ministry is

motivated by the love of God.  Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus

Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The music department primarily works within the church framework of The Salvation

Army, working with young people throughout Texas to develop spiritual lives and

musical abilities. Through regular church visits, summer music camp programs, and

year-round music and arts programming, the music department is reaching

out to involve more lives in the universal Christian Church.
